Overview of the sheets returned back to the archive. Several A4 stampsheets are sent into the network and slowly they are returning to the TAM Rubber Stamp Archive. If you want to participate, just ask for a sheet that will be sent to you.

DKULTN versions sent out
Some special vesions with DKULTN were made and printed with stamps. They are sent out, and I will see if some of them come back, Because of the collecting habbits of some mail-artists, the papers are archived in other locations rather then sent back to the formal collection. That is why I also keep some prints in the collection that are unfinished, so I can document the process better with an upcoming exhibition.

Scanned the collection
A first step has been done with the sent in papers. I have scanned them all. Both front and backside. As promissed all the papers will be published in a publication to document the overview of Fluxus Rubberstamps the network is currently using.
Not focussing on just the traditional Fluxus stamps, but also on the new created ones. The communication is also part of the prints. I send them out, sometimes they travl the world, sometimes they get back to me straight away. I don't recycle them. I just keep it all together as one collection to be exhibited one of thee days.

Ruud Janssen (NL) , Ross Priddle (USA), Jennifer Kosharek (USA)

Some sheets that came in are colour xeroxed and returned to the participants. About 25 envelopes went out. Besides the colour xerox also a new sheet was included. The special TAM Rubberstamp Memo's are used twice. One is added to the original contribution and then xeroxed. The oder one especially added for the receiver.
This one was published on Ross Priddle's blog, so I know he received his copy.

Copies and New Sheets
The last sheets that were sent in are copied in colour and sent back to the participants with a new empty sheet with it. A first feedback to the participants. Seems like the request is quite sepcific and not that many sheets return. Still, the result will be a quite unique collection as part of the TAM Rubberstamp Archive.

More documentation soon
In the beginning of 2011 some more sheets were sent out and some more got returned. This isn't a normal mail-art project. It is a documentation project of Fluxus Rubber Stamps where I try to get a clear overview of some of the active rubberstamps that are used. So be patient, more will follow....

More sheets sent out
The last month some more sheets are sent out. Sometimes a start is made with original rubber Fluxus Stamps that I have in the collection of th TAM Rubberstamp Archive. When the papers come back they will be put together in a book that I am preparing on the subject. As usual not all that is sent out comes back. Some sheets are kept back by a receiver because he want to collect something to. The danger of every add & pass on project. Eventually I hope enough comes back for a good book,

Rubberstamp from Ben Vautier
When sending mail to the old Fluxus members one can always expect surprises. Instead of printing on the stampsheets for Fluxus rubberstamps Ben Vautier sent back the sheet with this original rubberstamp out of his own collection. The text reads: "l 'instant présent m'interesse - Ben". Translation: "The situation now interests me - Ben". Off course I printed the stamp on the stampsheet for him and that will join the collection. The rubberstamp will be used for the outgoing mail on special occasions. Will think of a way to reply to this.
